Consultations
Your first visit to me requires a fairly lengthy 'information-gathering' conversation which lasts for 1 – 1 ½ hours. A detailed case history is taken to look at your current health problems as well as past health issues and family health traits so that your treatment can be planned according to your individual needs. My job as a homeopath is to then analyse this information in order to prescribe a remedy (or number of remedies) that most closely matches your unique pattern of symptoms. Your treatment is therefore individualised to support you as a whole, not just to treat your separate symptoms. Homeopathy treats the causes of disease and not just the effects.
Your prescription will usually take the form of pills which are easy to take and have a pleasant taste. They are non toxic and not habit forming.
The duration of your treatment will depend very much on what sort of illness is involved and how long you have been suffering from the symptoms and the speed of relief will depend on the condition you have. Acute conditions often respond very quickly to homeopathic treatment. In more chronic conditions recovery will depend upon your vitality, lifestyle and the length of time you have been ill. Even with chronic conditions patients often report a positive shift in health quite quickly.

A number of 20 minute appointments are available each day for acute illnesses (e.g. sore throats, ear ache, stomach upsets etc) and these are charged at £20.00 per visit including remedies. Please phone between 9am – 10am (07940 585 956) to book a same day appointment.
